I would love to do that, but I'm sure the stickers wouldn't last more than a couple of months, as much as I'm on the computer.

I'll let you know how the stickers hold up. My laptop is my primary computer, so it gets heavy use. The schtickers.com site sells stickers designed to protect the exterior of a laptop, which is what I used on the interior.

How did you create the graphics for the cover of your laptop? I mean, what program/s did you use to create that image, and the lovely oxblood color? I wish I had your mad grafix skilz. ;)

Really, though - just a beautiful thing, you have made. Truly. I'd LOVE to do something similar to my machine.

Now that one I can answer! That is the Mechanical Clock screensaver that was briefly free (and you can buy or get the trial version here).
